Hybrid Seminar: Tanzania's Gen Z: Perspectives between new beginnings and everyday life, March 14th, 2026

Jugendseminar

Tanzania's Gen Z: Perspectives between new beginnings and everyday life - hybrid seminar on 14 March 2026 online / Cologne / Leipzig

Adolescents and young adults find themselves at a crucial moment in their lives, making key decisions that shape their futures. These life choices are deeply influenced by social, economic, and cultural conditions. Aspirations and reality often diverge. Social inequality, limited access to education and the job market, and a lack of political representation cause many dreams to fade.

This raises important questions:

  • How is the younger generation positioning itself in Tanzania?
  • What role do media, political engagement, protest movements, and global challenges such as climate change and the dealing with colonial legacies play?

We warmly invite everyone interested to join us for dialogue, discussion, and networking. Karibuni sana! REGISTER HERE NOW!
